What Work Was Completed in Stephens City, VA?
We were happy to give this wonderful homeowner a fresh new roof in Stephens City, Virginia. We began the process by removing the existing shingles down to the deck. Any loose wood was re-nailed, and any bad or rotten wood was replaced. We then applied Certainteed WinterGuard ice and water shield at all eaves and in the valleys to prevent ice and leaks. Certainteed RoofRunner Synthetic underlayment was installed to keep the roof dry. A new shingle ridge vent and Certainteed Shadow Ridge Hip and Ridge Shingles were also installed for improved ventilation. Certainteed SwiftStart Starter Shingles were placed along all gutter lines and rake edges to ensure a strong foundation for the new shingles. The new Certainteed Landmark Lifetime Dimensional Shingles were installed as well as Lifetime Ultimate pipe flashing and step flashing to complete the roofing system.
